II LỊCH SỬ 8:14

Tùy theo lịnh truyền của Đa-vít, cha mình, người phân định ban thứ của những thầy tế lễ trong phần việc họ, và lập người Lê-vi trong chức sự họ, đặng ngợi khen Chúa và hầu việc tại trước mặt những thầy tế lễ, cứ công việc ngày nào theo ngày nấy; tại mỗi cửa cũng đặt kẻ giữ cửa, cứ theo phiên mình, vì Đa-vít, người của Đức Chúa Trời, đã truyền lịnh như vậy.

¶ And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
