அவர்கள் உமக்கு விரோதமாகப் பாவம் செய்ததால், வானம் அடைபட்டு மழை பெய்யாதிருக்கும்போது, அவர்கள் இந்த இடத்திற்கு நேராக விண்ணப்பம் செய்து, உம்முடைய நாமத்தை அறிக்கைசெய்து, தேவரீர் தங்களைத் துக்கப்படுத்தும்போது தங்கள் பாவங்களை விட்டுத் திரும்பினால்,

¶ When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;
