II CRONICHE 6:21

Esaudisci adunque le supplicazioni del tuo servitore, e del tuo popolo Israele, quando ti faranno orazione, volgendosi verso questo luogo; esaudiscili, dal luogo della tua stanza, dal cielo; ed avendoli esauditi, perdona loro.

Hearken therefore unto the supplications of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear thou from thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when thou hearest, forgive.
