જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ પોતાના પડોશી વિરુદ્ધ પાપ કરે તથા તેને સમ આપીને પ્રતિજ્ઞા અપાવે અને જો તે વ્યક્તિ આ સભાસ્થાનમાંની વેદી આગળ શપથ લઈને પ્રતિજ્ઞા લે,

¶ If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;
