2 इतिहास 6:26

“जब वे तेरे विरुद्ध पाप करें, और इस कारण आकाश इतना बन्द हो जाए कि वर्षा न हो, ऐसे समय यदि वे इस स्थान की ओर प्रार्थना करके तेरे नाम को मानें, और तू जो उन्हें दुःख देता है, इस कारण वे अपने पाप से फिरें,

¶ When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;
