இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தினர் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட பின்பு, யெகோவா ஓரேபிலே அவர்களோடு உடன்படிக்கை செய்தபோது, மோசே அந்தப் பெட்டியிலே வைத்த இரண்டு கற்பலகைகளைத் தவிர வேறொன்றும் அதிலே இருந்ததில்லை.
