Er was niets in de ark, dan alleen de twee tafelen, die Mozes bij Horeb daarin gedaan had als de HEERE een verbond maakte met de kinderen Israels, toen zij uit Egypte uitgetogen waren.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
