પછી દાઉદ નગરમાંથી એટલે સિયોનમાંથી ઈશ્વરનો કરારકોશ લઈ આવવા માટે સુલેમાને ઇઝરાયલના વડીલોને, દરેક કુળના આગેવાનોને, એટલે ઇઝરાયલી લોકોના કુટુંબોના આગેવાનોને યરુશાલેમમાં એકત્ર કર્યા.
