Sa-lô-môn khởi cất đền Đức Giê-hô-va tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, trên núi Mô-ri-a, là nơi Đức Giê-hô-va đã hiện ra cùng Đa-vít, cha người, tại trên chỗ mà Đa-vít đã dọn, tức là trong sân đạp lúa của Oït-na, người Giê-bu-sít.
