யோயாக்கீன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது எட்டு வயதாயிருந்து, மூன்று மாதங்களும் பத்து நாட்களும் எருசலேமில் அரசாண்டு, யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதை செய்தான்.

¶ Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
