പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളൊക്കെയും ജനവും ജാതികളുടെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളെയുംപോലെ വളരെ അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തു; യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച അവന്റെ ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.
