II CRONICHE 36:19

E i Caldei arsero la Casa di Dio, e disfecero le mura di Gerusalemme, e bruciarono col fuoco tutti i suoi palazzi, e guastarono tutti i suoi più cari arredi.

And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
