แต่พระองค์รับสั่งให้ทูตไปทูลโยสิยาห์ว่า “กษัตริย์แห่งยูดาห์เอ๋ย เรามีเรื่องอะไรเกี่ยวข้องกับท่าน วันนี้เรามิได้มาต่อสู้ท่านแต่ต่อสู้กับวงศ์วานซึ่งเราทำสงครามด้วย เพราะพระเจ้าทรงบัญชาเราให้เร่งรีบ ขอยับยั้งการขัดขวางพระเจ้าผู้ทรงสถิตกับเรา เกรงว่าพระองค์จะทรงทำลายท่านเสีย”

But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
