Jeremias dichtte een klaagzang op Josias, en alle zangers en zangeressen herdachten hem in hun klaagliederen, zoals ze op de huidige dag nog doen; want ze werden in Israël ingevoerd, en zijn verzameld in de Klaagliederen.

¶ And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
