இந்த மனிதர்கள் வேலையை உண்மையாகச் செய்தார்கள்; வேலையை நடத்த மெராரியின் மக்களில் யாகாத், ஒபதியா என்னும் லேவியர்களும், கோகாத்தியரின் மக்களில் சகரியாவும், மெசுல்லாமும் அவர்கள்மேல் விசாரிப்புக்காரர்களாக இருந்தார்கள்; இந்த லேவியர்கள் எல்லோரும் கீதவாத்தியங்களை வாசிக்க அறிந்தவர்கள்.

And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of musick.
