In het achttiende jaar van zijn regering, toen hij het land en de tempel gezuiverd had, gaf hij Sjafan, den zoon van Asalj hoe, en den stadsoverste Maäsejáhoe en den kanselier Joach, den zoon van Joachaz, de opdracht, de tempel te herstellen van Jahweh, zijn God.
