രായസക്കാരനായ ശാഫാൻ രാജാവിനോടു: ഹില്ക്കീയാപുരോഹിതൻ ഒരു പുസ്തകം എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു; ശാഫാൻ അതിനെ രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു.

Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
