II CRONICHE 34:13

come ancora quelli che comandavano a quelli che portavano i pesi; ed essi aveano la cura di sollecitar tutti quelli che lavoravano all'opera in qualunque servigio; gli scrivani eziandio, ed i commessari, e i portinai, erano Leviti.

Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and were overseers of all that wrought the work in any manner of service: and of the Levites there were scribes, and officers, and porters.
