Yapmış olduğu putun oyma suretini Tanrı evine koydu, ki, onun hakkında Tanrı David'e ve oğlu Solomon'a, “Bu evde ve İsrael'in bütün oymakları arasından seçtiğim Yeruşalem'de adımı sonsuza dek koyacağım” demişti.
