જેમ તેનો પિતા મનાશ્શા નમ્ર થઈ ગયો હતો તેમ તે ઈશ્વરની આગળ નમ્ર થયો નહિ. પરંતુ આમોન ઉત્તરોત્તર અધિક અપરાધ કરતો ગયો.
