A potom vystavěl zed zevnitřní města Davidova k západní straně Gihonu potoku, až kudy se chodí k bráně rybné, a obehnal Ofel, a vyhnal ji velmi vysoko. Rozsadil také hejtmany vojska po všech městech hrazených v Judstvu.
