తన అధికారులనూ సైన్యాధిపతులనూ సంప్రదించాడు. పట్టణం బయట ఉన్న నీటి ఊటలనుంచి నీళ్ళు సరఫరా కాకుండా చేయాలని వారు నిర్ణయించారు. వారు అతనికి తోడుగా నిలిచారు.
