Baada ya mambo haya yote kumalizika, Waisraeli ambao walikuwako huko wakaenda kwenye miji ya Yuda, wakayavunja yale mawe ya kuabudia na kuzikatakata zile nguzo za Ashera. Wakabomoa mahali pa juu pa kuabudia miungu pamoja na madhabahu zake kila mahali katika Yuda na Benyamini na katika Efraimu na Manase. Baada ya kuviharibu hivi vyote, Waisraeli wakarudi katika miji yao wenyewe na kwenye milki zao.
Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
