சபையிலே அநேகர் தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம் செய்துகொள்ளாமல் இருந்தார்கள்; ஆகையால் சுத்தமில்லாத எல்லோரையும் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பரிசுத்தம்செய்ய, லேவியர்கள் அவர்களுக்காகப் பஸ்காவின் ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகளை அடிக்கும் காரியத்தை விசாரித்தார்கள்.

For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
