II CRONICHE 30:17

Perciocchè molti erano nella raunanza, i quali non si erano santificati; e perciò i Leviti ebbero la cura di scannar gli agnelli della Pasqua per tutti coloro che non erano netti, per santificar quegli agnelli al Signore.

For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
