II CRONICHE 29:24

Ed i sacerdoti li scannarono, e sparsero il lor sangue sopra l'altare, come sangue di sacrificio per lo peccato, per fare il purgamento per tutto Israele; perciocchè il re avea detto che si facesse questo olocausto, e questo sacrificio per lo peccato, per tutto Israele.

And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
