तब वे राज्य और पवित्रस्थान और यहूदा के निमित्त सात बछड़े, सात मेढ़े, सात भेड़ के बच्चे, और पापबलि के लिये सात बकरे ले आए, और उसने हारून की सन्तान के लेवियों को आज्ञा दी कि इन सब को यहोवा की वेदी पर चढ़ाएँ29:21 यहोवा की वेदी पर चढ़ाएँ: हिजकिय्याह ने यहोवा की उपासना का पुनरुद्धार असाधारण व्यापक पापबलि देकर किया। उसका उद्देश्य था कि ज्ञात और अज्ञात दोनों पापों का प्रायश्चित किया जाए।।
