ராஜாவாகிய உசியா தன் மரணநாள்வரை தொழுநோயாளியாயிருந்து, யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் விலக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்ததால், ஒரு தனித்த வீட்டிலே தொழுநோயாளியாக குடியிருந்தான்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம், ராஜாவின் அரண்மனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தான்.
