அவனுக்குப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் சமபூமியிலும் அநேகம் ஆடுமாடுகளும், மலைகளிலேயும், வயல்வெளியிலேயும், விவசாயிகளும், திராட்சைத்தோட்டக்காரர்களும் உண்டாயிருந்ததால், அவன் வனாந்திரத்திலே கோபுரங்களைக் கட்டி, அநேக கிணறுகளை வெட்டினான்; அவன் வேளாண்மைப் பிரியனாயிருந்தான்.

Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
