Uzzia ging bij zijn vaderen te ruste, en men begroef hem bij zijn vaderen, in het veld naast de begraafplaats der koningen, want men zeide: Hij was melaats. Zijn zoon Jotam werd koning in zijn plaats.

So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
