Nadělal také v Jeruzalémě vtipně vymyšlených nástrojů válečných, aby byli na věžech a na úhlech k střílení střelami a kamením velikým. I rozneslo se jméno jeho daleko, proto že divné pomoci měl, až se i zmocnil.
