2 CHRONIQUES 25:5

Amatsia rassembla les hommes de Juda et les plaça d’après les maisons paternelles, les chefs de milliers et les chefs de centaines, pour tout Juda et Benjamin; il en fit le dénombrement depuis l’âge de vingt ans et au-dessus, et il trouva trois cent mille hommes d’élite, en état de porter les armes, maniant la lance et le bouclier.

¶ Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
