E benchè l'esercito de' Siri fosse venuto con poca gente, nondimeno il Signore diede loro nelle mani un esercito grandissimo; perciocchè aveano abbandonato il Signore Iddio de' padri loro; ed i Siri eseguirono i giudicii sopra Gioas.
