Intussen had Jehojada als wachtposten bij de tempel van Jahweh de priesters en levieten opgesteld, die David voor de tempel van Jahweh in klassen had ingedeeld, om naar de verordening van David met jubeltonen en gezangen de brandoffers op te dragen ter ere van Jahweh, zoals geschreven staat in de wet van Moses;

Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.
