En zij zag toe; en ziet, de koning stond bij zijn pilaar, aan den ingang; en de oversten en de trompetten waren bij den koning; en al het volk des lands was blijde, en blies met de trompetten; en de zangers waren er met muzikale instrumenten, en gaven te kennen, dat men lofzingen zou; toen verscheurde Athalia haar klederen, en zij riep: Verraad, verraad!

And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick, and such as taught to sing praise.
