આહાબના કુટુંબની જેમ અહાઝયાહએ ઈશ્વરની દ્રષ્ટિમાં જે ખોટું હતું તે કર્યુ, કારણ કે તેના પિતાના મૃત્યુ પછી તેઓ તેનો નાશ થાય એવાં સલાહસૂચનો આપતા હતા.
