అయినా యెహోవా తాను దావీదుతో చేసిన నిబంధన బట్టి, అతనికీ అతని కుమారులకూ ఎప్పుడూ జీవమిస్తానని చేసిన వాగ్దానం కోసం దావీదు సంతతిని నాశనం చేయడానికి ఇష్టపడలేదు.
