എന്നാൽ എദോം ഇന്നുവരെ യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലധികാരത്തോടു മത്സരിച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ആ കാലത്തു തന്നേ ലിബ്നയും അവന്റെ മേലധികാരത്തോടു മത്സരിച്ചു.

So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.
