II CRONICHE 20:10

Or al presente, ecco, i figliuoli di Ammon e di Moab, e que' del monte di Seir, nel cui paese tu non permettesti ad Israele di entrare, quando veniva fuor del paese di Egitto; anzi se ne rivolse indietro, e non li distrusse;

And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;
