พระองค์ทรงวางกำลังพลไว้ในหัวเมืองที่มีป้อมทั้งปวงของยูดาห์ และทรงตั้งทหารประจำป้อมในแผ่นดินยูดาห์ และในหัวเมืองเอฟราอิม ซึ่งอาสาราชบิดาของพระองค์ได้ยึดไว้
