ஆசா தன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: யெகோவாவே, பலமுள்ளவனுக்காகிலும் பலமில்லாதவனுக்காகிலும் உதவிசெய்கிறது உமக்கு லேசான காரியம்; எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, எங்களுக்குத் துணையாக நில்லும்; உம்மைச் சார்ந்து உம்முடைய நாமத்தில் ஏராளமான இந்தக் கூட்டத்திற்கு எதிராக வந்தோம்; யெகோவாவே, நீர் எங்கள் தேவன்; மனிதன் உம்மை மேற்கொள்ளவிடாதேயும் என்றான்.

And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
