તેણે યહૂદિયામાં કિલ્લાવાળાં નગરો બાંધ્યાં. તે વર્ષોમાં યુદ્ધ ન હોવાના કારણે તે દેશમાં શાંતિ વ્યાપેલી રહી હતી. કેમ કે ઈશ્વરે તેને શાંતિ આપી હતી.

¶ And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.
