அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அக்காலத்திலே தாழ்த்தப்பட்டார்கள்; யூதா மனிதர்களோ தங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவைச் சார்ந்துகொண்டதால் மேற்கொண்டார்கள்.
