મિસરના રાજા શિશાકે યરુશાલેમ ઉપર ચઢાઈ કરીને ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનનો ખજાનો તથા રાજાના મહેલનો બધો ખજાનો લૂંટી લીધો. તેણે બધું જ લૂંટી લીધું; સુલેમાને સોનાની જે ઢાલો બનાવી હતી એ પણ તે લઈ ગયો.

So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; he took all: he carried away also the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
