‘ઈશ્વર આમ કહે છે: તમારે તમારા ભાઈઓ તથા સંબંધીઓની વિરુદ્ધ હુમલો કે લડાઈ કરવી નહિ. દરેક માણસ પોતપોતાના ઘરે પાછા જાઓ, કેમ કે આ કામ મારાથી થયું છે.’” તેથી તેઓએ ઈશ્વરનું કહ્યું માન્યું અને યરોબામની વિરુદ્ધ ન જતા તેઓ પોતપોતાને ઘરે પાછા ગયા.

Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
