લેવીઓ પોતાના ગોચર અને મિલકત મૂકીને યહૂદિયા અને યરુશાલેમ આવ્યા હતા કેમ કે યરોબામે અને તેના દીકરાઓએ તેઓને નસાડી મૂક્યા હતા કે જેથી તેઓ ઈશ્વર માટે યાજકની જવાબદારી બજાવી ન શકે.
