Bấy giờ, vua Rô-bô-am sai Ha-đô-ram, là người cai quản việc cống thuế, đến cùng dân Y-sơ-ra-ên; song dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ném đá người, thì người chết. Vua Rô-bô-am lật đật lên xe trốn về Giê-ru-sa-lem.
