ด้วยว่าการรักเงินนั้นเป็นรากเหง้าแห่งความชั่​วท​ั้งสิ้น ​ขณะที่​บางคนโลภสิ่งเหล่านี้จึงได้หลงไปจากความเชื่อนั้น และทิ่มแทงตัวของเขาเองให้​ทะลุ​ด้วยความทุกข์ใจเป็​นอ​ันมาก

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
