ധനികന്മാരാകുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ പരീക്ഷയിലും കണിയിലും കുടുങ്ങുകയും മനുഷ്യർ സംഹാരനാശങ്ങളിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാൻ ഇടവരുന്ന മൗഢ്യവും ദോഷകരവുമായ പല മോഹങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
