テサロニケ人への手紙第一 2:8

このようにあなたがたを思う心から、ただ神の福音だけではなく、私たち自身のいのちまでも、喜んであなたがたに与えたいと思ったのです。なぜなら、あなたがたは私たちの愛する者となったからです。

So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
